Summary

Amends the

Customs Act 1901
in relation to: detention of persons by Customs officers for purposes of law enforcement cooperation; control of goods and persons in Customs areas; reporting requirements for certain vessels, aircraft passengers and crew; and the appointment of ports under the Act. Also contains application provisions.
